By registering your school on the Petit Lunch platform at school.petitlunch.com, you agree to these School Terms of Service on behalf of your school. These terms form a binding agreement between your school and Petit Lunch Inc. ("Petit Lunch", "we", "our"), incorporated in Canada.
Petit Lunch provides a school meal management platform: student rosters, allergen tracking, daily delivery confirmation, subsidy administration, and compliance reporting for Canada's National School Food Program (NSFP). Petit Lunch is a technology intermediary — meal preparation and delivery are performed by independently operated vendors.
You are responsible for the accuracy of student roster, allergen, and subsidy-eligibility data entered into the platform. Student data is stored in Canada and used only to operate the meal program for your school — see our Privacy Policy for details on data handling and retention.
Critical obligation
Schools are responsible for keeping student allergen and dietary-restriction records current and for communicating them accurately through the platform. Petit Lunch relays this information to vendors but does not verify individual meal preparation.
If your school participates in the National School Food Program or a provincial subsidy program, you are responsible for the accuracy of eligibility, funding, and hardship-override data entered into the platform. Petit Lunch generates compliance and government reports from this data.
School use of the core meal-management platform is free. Optional paid features, if any, will be disclosed before activation. Vendors and parents are billed separately under their own terms.
Either party may terminate this agreement with 30 days' written notice. Petit Lunch may suspend or terminate a school account immediately for inaccurate safety-critical data (e.g. allergen information), fraudulent activity, or breach of these terms.
Petit Lunch's total liability for any claim arising from use of the platform is limited to fees paid by your school, if any, in the 3 months preceding the claim. Petit Lunch is not liable for food safety incidents, allergen reactions, or delivery failures caused by an independently operated vendor.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
